Is laser hair removal really permanent or 100% permanent?
Strictly speaking the permanent of laser hair removal it is not really hair removal forever. As to date, there is no laser equipment that has been approved for permanent hair removal but has been approved for permanent hair reduction by the FDA.
Hairs has three distinct growth phase that is Active growth phase, Regressive phase and Resting phase. The laser most effectively disables hair that is in the active growth. Our hairs are always in a different hair growth cycle, even after several times of laser hair removal treatment, laser only can disables hair that is in the active growth not disables hairs that is in other growth phase. That is the reason of laser hair removal can not really removal hairs forever.
Most people regardless of the kind of skin, male and female will see that the 80% to 90% of hairs is greatly reduced and hair which does grow is often much finer and lighter in color after 4 to 6 laser hair removal treatments.
It should be noted that, the number of laser hair removal sessions needed to achieve these results can vary from person to person depending on many factors such as age, skin type, amount of hair, hair color, hair texture, etc.
Overall, laser hair removal is still the best option. Although electrolysis is considered a permanent hair removal method that has been used for the past 125 years, but electrolysis is more injury, risk and expensive than laser hair removal.

Who is a candidate for Laser Hair Removal?
Almost anybody who has undesirable hair is a candidate for laser hair removal. However certain conditions may complicate treatment. Laser hair removal achieves the best results with light-skinned, dark-haired individuals. Lasers with longer wavelengths are generally useful for darker-skinned patients.Caution must be exercised in certain situations:The presence of an active bacterial or viral infection prevents treatment until the condition resolves.A history of hypertrophic scarring or keloid formation requires less aggressive laser treatments in order to avoid any complications. The presence of a suntan makes laser hair removal less effective and increases the likelihood of scarring or skin injury. If you have psoriasis or vitiligo, you should be warned about the possibility of causing more lesions in the treated areas. Most dermatologists recommend waiting 1 year after taking isotretinoin (Accutane®) before doing laser hair removal because of atypical scarring that has been associated with use of this drug during treatment.Where?Laser hair removal can be performed on virtually any hair bearing part of your body including your arms, legs, bikini area, back, etc. Objectives of TherapyThe primary objective is safe and effective hair removal.Total permanent hair removal, while desirable, is not always possible.Total temporary hair removal lasting several months is a reasonable expectation. Some permanent hair reduction in treated areas is possible, especially after multiple treatments.

Laser Hair Removal Cost & Pricing
Getting an accurate idea of laser hair removal pricing can be difficult and often times, frustrating. There are a number of variables that laser clinics, med spas, and medical professionals consider when determining the cost of a single laser hair removal treatment or a full treatment package. Chest Hair Removal Cost & Comparisons
There are a number of important factors that can affect chest hair removal prices. Because it's the closest legitimate option to permanent hair removal available, laser hair removal won’t be the same price as a can of shaving cream. However, your final bill will usually rise or fall depending on the time and number of sessions your treatment requires. In other words, anything that extends the length of treatment, such as surface area (bigger chest = more time to treat), hair density (more hair = more treatments), hair pigment (red, blonde, and gray hair are more difficult to remove), and skin tone (some lasers don't work as well on dark skin), will usually result in a higher chest hair removal cost. Logically, then, costs of full body hair removal will also be considerably more, unless you take advantage of special deals like the ones mentioned below.Men: Your Laser Hair Removal Treatment GuideIt's extremely important to learn all you can about chest laser hair removal before starting a treatment. Laser hair removal for men routinely involves larger areas of the body, but you can actually save considerable cash by finding laser clinics that offer incentives and deals for combo treatment packages, especially if you're considering a full body hair removal treatment, rather than a chest hair removal procedure alone. By knowing what to look for in a laser clinic, you'll be able to save money and put your care in the hands of the best technicians with the best technology. We have plenty of information on laser hair removal here at Hair Removal Forum, and our helpful liaisons are standing by to help you further…all you need to do is call.
